He will visit the Yad Vashem World Holocaust Remembrance Center on Wednesday, after which he will meet with Foreign Minister Yair Lapid ahead of a joint press conference.
Cavusoglu is also expected to meet with Tourism Minister Yoel Razvozov as well as visit the Old City and the flashpoint Temple Mount. His decision to visit the Temple Mount unaccompanied, however, is likely to cause some diplomatic unease.
At a later point, Cavusoglu will travel to Ramallah for a meeting with Palestinian leaders.
President Isaac Herzog's visit to Ankara and Istanbul in March to reconnect with his counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan opened a new era in Turkey-Israel ties, following a decade of tensions.
The Turkish president, however, expressed "sadness" over the clashes on the Temple Mount during Ramadan in April.
"Turkey will maintain its ties with Israel despite the incidents at Al-Aqsa Mosque because strong relations with Israel are key to defending Palestinian rights," Erdogan said at the time.
