Gan-Zvi is the second senior official at the PMO to resign this month. Bennett's diplomatic adviser Shimrit Meir stepped down.
Bennett said he was saddened by the news. Thanking Gan-Zvi for his service he said, "Since I entered politics, Tal was at my side at all of my different stations in public service. I want to thank him for the many years of service and for his hard work, around the clock."
Gan Zvi said that it was "a privilege to work over the last decade with a dedicated public servant who cares about the country and always places it at the top of his agenda."
