Turkish chef and food entertainer Nusret Gökçe, who became famous in 2017 after his technique for seasoning meat became an Internet meme, might open a restaurant in Israel.

Israeli businessman Zvi Williger is currently in Turkey holdings talks on the matter, Israel Hayom has found out from sources involved in the matter.
Although the parties are in the initial stages of negotiations, sources said both are optimistic about the process.
Gökçe is the owner of Nusr-Et, a chain of luxury steak houses, with branches in Turkey, Greece, the United States, Britain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and possibly in Israel soon as well.
Williger, in turn, is the chairman of one of Israel's leading food importers Willi-Food.
