The May 30 auction will be dedicated solely to contemporary art and will be held in collaboration with the most prominent contemporary art galleries in the country: Givon Gallery, Gordon Gallery, Zimak Gallery and Hezi Cohen Gallery, TAH said.
NFT – non-fungible token – is a financial security consisting of digital data stored in a blockchain, a form of a distributed ledger. The new digital exchange has taken the art world by storm, creating a dramatic change in the art trade.
The Israeli auction is expected to feature some of the most successful artists in the country and on the international market, including Sigalit Landau, Yayoi Kusama, Michal Rovner, Ron Arad, Miriam Cabessa, Jeff Koons, and Vik Muniz, as well as artists Koketit, Shirley Shor, #TAG, and Moran Victoria Sabbag who are the pioneers of NFT art in Israel.
