Last week, Riverside became a Spotify partner, announcing a new collaboration with the streaming giant's podcast platform Anchor making professional video podcast creation accessible to all podcasters on the platform. Additionally, Riverside will soon be available to use on iPad devices later this week.
With its new round of funding bringing its total amount raised to $47 million, the company plans to expand its current team and invest in building a more robust experience for creators.
Riverside has already facilitated millions of recordings on its platform, which simplifies the recording and editing processes. The platform is now used by individual creators as well as enterprise customers including Guy Raz, Marques Brownlee, The New York Times, Fox Sports, Marvel, iHeartMedia and Microsoft.
"We're not a trivial company, being where we are in the market with the quality and quantity of content creators using Riverside on a daily basis," said Riverside.fm co-founder and CEO Nadav Keyson.
"I thank our employees every day and invite those who want to influence the future of content creation and want to grow with us to join us," Keyson said.
