Managing Director of Intel Ignite Israel Ranny Nachmias said, "It's an exciting time for us at Intel Ignite due to the great success in the collaboration between our fresh, innovative startups and Intel during the last year."
Nachmias said that Intel Ignite had recently been named "Acceleration program for 2021," which he called "great proof of confidence in the program."
"The sixth Israeli cohort, starting next week, drew an impressive number of applicants from various verticals in the industry. Since the program's launch in 2019, the participating companies have achieved magnificent results with nearly $700 million in funding. Intel also shares this success with the acquisition of Granulate, alumni of the first Israeli cohort. I am thrilled to see how the startups in the upcoming batch flourish along with the program and the unique personal professional connections created between the founders, experts, and mentors," Nachmias said.
Intel Ignite's accelerator program for startups in Israel has so far included 48 local startups and 20 more in Europe.
