Israel's judo team has a strong showing in the European Cup in Dubrovnik, Croatia, over the weekend winning gold and bronze medals.

Judoka Lior Rafailov bested British rival David Ferguson, taking the gold in the under-60kg category. Tamar Malka bested Croatia's Navina Malic, winning the bronze in the under-48 kg category. Paz Kafri then defeated Italy's Valentina Tomaselli, winning the bronze in the under-52kg category.
According to JudoInside, 235 athletes are competing in the 8th edition of the European Judo Cup.
