Border Police officers serving in a special counter-terrorism unit caught in the act a man sneaking onto their military training base and trying to steal equipment and ammunition.

The fighters were taking part in special training for the prevention of theft from IDF bases, a phenomenon that has become widespread in southern Israel in recent years.
According to reports, the suspect – a resident of the local Bedouin town – was arrested shortly after entering the base, when he was roaming the area in search of equipment to steal. He has been taken into questioning by the police.
