Israel's national girl's team took gold at the Junior World Fencing Championship in Dubai, Sunday.

Fencers Nicole Feigin, Adele Bogdanov, Sohpia Vainberg, and Eva Galper were ranked 11th when they entered the epee fencing competition, but defeated Brazil 45-30 and then Switzerland 45-44 to make it into the semifinals.

Poland took the silver medal at the competition, and the United States took bronze.
The Israelis then went on to secure a 45-31 victory against the Romanian national team, followed by a 45-38 defeat of the Swedish team. In the final competition against the Polish national team, the Israeli fencers came out on a top by three points with a score of 45-42.
