According to reports, around 1 p.m. Dion Marsh, 27, from Manchester, New Jersey, carjacked a vehicle driven by an ultra-Orthodox man, following several attempts of carjackings, and assaulted the driver.
Later in the evening, around 6 p.m. he used the stolen vehicle to ram another victim, who was hospitalized in stable condition, and close to an hour later, stabbed another man in the chest.

At 8:20 p.m. Marsh perpetrated yet another attack and ran over a pedestrian in the nearby town of Jackson.
Police apprehended Marshon Friday evening. He has since been charged with three counts of attempted murder, carjacking and bias intimidation. Marsh is said to have made antisemitic remarks after his arrest.
The Anti-Defamation League commended law enforcement for charging the subject with bias intimidation, among other charges.
"We are grateful to federal and local law enforcement for their swift response in apprehending the suspect and bringing charges that include bias intimidation," the organization's national director Scott Richman said in a statement.
"I am personally horrified at the cruelty with which the suspect allegedly conducted himself. More needs to be done proactively to prevent violence against the Jewish community, and in particular visibly identifiable Jews in Ocean County and across our region. We recommit ourselves and our organization to working with government, educational institutions, interfaith and intergroup partners and law enforcement in order to achieve this goal," he said.
