Likud MK Shlomo Karhi said, "Another terrible evening of terror in our streets. Oslo III is already here. Protect yourselves, protect your loved ones, listen to the security forces' instructions. I support them. My heart goes out to the victims, and I wish a speedy recovery to the injured."
Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai also called on residents to obey instructions.
"Upon learning of the shooting on Dizengoff Street, I arrived at the scene and received an initial briefing from the district commander. I ask residents to stay at home, refrain from going out, and obey police instructions."
Joint Arab List MK Ofer Cassif said, "Targeting innocent civilians is not a fight against injustice, it is injustice itself. My condolences to the families of those killed and wishes for a complete recovery to the wounded."
Religious Zionist Party head Bezalel Smotrich and MKs Merav Ben-Ari and Limor Magen Telem also sent their condolences to the families of the victims and wished for the well-being of the injured.
Leader of the far-right Otzma Yehudit party Itamar Ben-Gvir accused Prime Minister Naftali Bennett of being preoccupied with salvaging the coalition instead of focusing on national security.
"Instead of ensuring the citizens' safety, he deals with petty politics and is incapable of preventing the next terror attack. The blood government must go home," he said.
Mk Yuli Edelstein said, "I pray for the wellbeing of the wounded in the attack in the heart of Tel Aviv. I expect clear instructions from the political echelon to put an end to this terror wave, which does not distinguish between opinions and political affiliations. We must all mobilize for a determined war against those who have risen to kill us."
Before the terrorist who perpetrated the attack was captured, MK Abir Kara wrote, "A difficult and sad night in Tel Aviv … I pray for the wellbeing of the wounded and support the security forces, police, and rescue units and the brave citizens who are currently operating in the arena."
