"He didn't talk much, but he helped others a lot. [He was] a true warrior," he was eulogized.
Public Security Minister Omer Barlev and Justice Minister Gideon Sa'ar represented the government at the funeral.

Sheikh Mowafaq Tarif, leader of the Druze community, said at the funeral, "This was a hard evening for the Druze people. The entire community is mourning the premature death of Yazen the warrior, who was raised in a home of love and generosity."
Barlev said, "Evil tidings have fallen on Israel when we learned of the warriors' deaths. Yazen put his life in danger every day. We are here thanks to him and thanks to his comrades.
"I promise you here and now – we will not allow elements that incite and are full of hatred to harm the resilience of Israeli society. These are tests we have faced in the past and will pass again now," Barlev said.
Cpl. Shirel Abukarat, who was killed in the same attack, was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Netanya.
Falah, 19, enlisted in the Border Guards a year ago and served in Judea and Samaria.
Abukarat, also 19, made aliyah from France in 2006. She joined the Border Guards a year and a half ago and also served in Judea and Samaria.
