Israel and Germany's football associations signed a cooperation agreement this week, a day before a friendly match between the countries' national teams.

The two will cooperate, among other things, on matters related to training, innovation, technology, social responsibility, women's' soccer, social responsibility, and youth sports.
The agreement was signed by Chairman of the Israel Football Association Oren Hason and his German counterpart Heike Ullrich.
"The cooperation agreement between the two associations contributes in many more aspect than just football," Hason said. It "has strong roots in the past, is part of our present, and promises cooperation and friendship between the two associations and two nations toward an even better future."
