The operation resulted in the confiscation of dozens of guns and explosives devices.
One of the agents is a woman serving with a special Border Police unit. She and a male colleague spent months under cover, carrying out some 35 weapons deals. Guns bought and sold in the operation included pistols, Kalashnikov rifles, and M16s.
When the green light was given Monday morning to bust the ring, over 1,000 police personnel from different units raided the homes of dozens of suspects in multiple cities and villages on both sides of the Green Line, including Nazareth, Jenin, and Umm al Fahm.
