Two planes carrying humanitarian aid have departed Israel for Ukraine in the past 24 hours, with another plane scheduled to leave later Tuesday.

The aid on board includes 10 water purification systems to supply potable water for some 200,000 people, emergency kits to supply water for 100,000 people, 3,000 tents for families, 3,000 sleeping bags, 2,700 parkas, and 17 tons of medicine and medical equipment.
Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz said Tuesday that "Israel stands with the Ukrainian people in a difficult time – that is our moral obligation."
