Israel was expected to see more winter weather going into the weekend as the rain that began Thursday night was expected to spread throughout the north and central regions overnight Friday.

Snow was forecast for Mount Hermon, which saw relatively snow in a major storm at the end of January.
Flash flood warnings were in effect for ravines and creeks in eastern Israel, with local flooding also expected in cities.
