The IATI survey, conducted by the McKinsey & Company group among 25 venture capital funds and investment firms – including, among others, OurCrowd, aMoon, Entree Capital, Pitango, and Jerusalem Venture Partners – noted that the digital health sector had a strong showing in 2021 and could expect 2022 to be just as successful.
A breakdown of the findings by tech and innovation website NoCamels noted that 60% of investors expect to invest more in digital health in 2022, while 36% said they expect to invest the same amount as 2021.

In these two significant years, we have seen more venture capital funds and investment bodies, not necessarily those associated with the field, that have entered to influence and invest in medical technologies."
Gila Tolub, a partner at McKinsey, told NoCamels that the findings were in line with international trends.
"We see more money flowing into technological solutions that can identify and diagnose patients' exact medical conditions, or streamline drug research and development processes."
Israeli startups had a record-breaking year in 2021 security over $25 billion. Israel also named 33 private companies as |unicorns" – meaning they were valued at over $1 billion.
