After the Philippines were almost entirely closed to Israeli tourists for nearly two years because of the COVID pandemic, the Philippine government has announced that it plans to allow vaccinated Israelis into the country starting on Feb. 10.

The announcement comes as Philippines Airlines is due to start operating direct flights to Israel starting in April, as first reported by Israel Hayom.
According to currently available information, Israelis will not need to apply for visas to the Philippines and will be able to stay there for up to 59 days. Israeli tourists must be fully vaccinated, and must have a negative PCR test conducted in the 48 hours before their flight to the Philippines.
From the Pacific to North Africa – Morocco has also announced that it plans to reopen its borders to Israeli tourists after a travel ban of some two months.
Morocco plans to allow Israeli visitors in starting Feb. 7, but as of Saturday had yet to publish its travel requirements.
