As a result of rising COVID numbers, which have sent many bus drivers in Israel into self-isolation, the National Public Transport Authority instructed the country's bus companies on Thursday to put drivers from private bus companies to work on intercity lines in an attempt to minimize the pandemic's effect on public transportation.
