"I'm actually marrying the color pink," Sera told KVVU, a Fox-affiliated station in Las Vegas, adding that after "dating it for 40 years," she felt it was "time to make it official."
Naturally, the color dominated the Jan. 5 wedding ceremony.
Donning a baby pink tulle gown, Sera, 57, arrived at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas sitting in a pink Cadillac. She walked down the aisle with a giant swatch featuring her five favorite shades of pink. The bridesmen all wore pink suits and sprinkled pink petals on the ground.
She then gave herself a Harry Winston pink diamond ring to seal the deal.
The décor and the wedding cake were all pink as well, befitting the dream wedding of a woman who calls herself "The Pink Lady of Hollywood."

Sera told local media that her love affair with the romantic color started when she decided to wear all pink for her 20th birthday party.
"I felt fabulous. I thought, if wearing so much pink could make me feel fantastic, why not wear pink every day? "
But not only has she been wearing completely pink for over four decades, in 2018 she spent over 1 million pounds ($1.36 million), transforming her wardrobe, car and home into what she described as a "pink paradise."

The idea to make an honest color of pink popped into her mind in 2020, she said, after a kid that has been skateboarding down a street poked fun at her.
"A kid said to me, 'Wow you love pink, right?' I said, 'Yeah, I love it so much,' and he goes, 'You love it so much, why don't you marry it?' I thought, 'This kid's on to something,'" Sera explained.
While she admitted to the media that the idea of marrying a color was a bit far-fetched, Sera said she "encourages everyone to do what they love while they still can."
"Have fun with it! Have a ball," she told KTLA 5 "You're only here for a little bit of time. Have a blast."
