The Dutch government has recently decided to stop funding the Palestinian organization Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC), which has been affiliated with the terrorist group Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
The move comes more than two years after its UAWC members perpetrated a terrorist attack in Israel.

In the 2019 attack, 17-year-old Rina Schnerb was murdered by means of an explosive device near the town of Dolev. But in recent days the Dutch government told her family that Dutch money would no longer support the UAWC. This comes in the wake of a report published by NGO Monitor showing that its members were in fact associated with the PFLP terrorist group.
A member of the Schnerb family told Israel Hayom said, "Someone called us from the Dutch Embassy and they told us that the Netherlands will no longer support the UAWC. Some of the terrorists who killed our Rina were part of the organization. We want to express our gratitude to the Dutch government for making the right decision and to the Foreign Ministry as well, and we expect more countries around the world to stop funding those organizations."
In response to the decision, NGO Monitor issued the following statement: "As a direct result of NGO Monitor research, the Dutch government is halting €8 million in funding, over three years, to the Palestinian NGO known as UAWC. The Dutch announced that it will also conduct an external investigation into UAWC's ties to the PFLP terror group. Our research shows that since 2013, UAWC has received nearly $20 million from the Netherlands. During the past year, NGO Monitor researched and published its findings in a detailed report, briefed officials, and wrote a number of open letters to Dutch officials on this issue. The evidence we provided led to a number of parliamentary questions."
The UAWC was recently designated as a terrorist organization by Defense Minister Benny Gantz due to terrorism ties.
