Israel Hayom and the Israeli Medical Association will host a conference Tuesday on the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on mental resilience.

The event, which will begin at 9 a.m. at the Zappa event hall in Tel Aviv, will focus on the rise in depression and mental illness since the outbreak of the virus last year. Editor-in-chief of Israel Hayom Boaz Bismuth will be speaking at the event, as will President Isaac Herzog's wife, Michal.
Topics will range from the effects of COVID on youngsters, the elderly, vaccines, mental health education, practical tools for parents of teenagers struggling with the pandemic, and more.
The panels will feature senior health officials and experts, as well as mental health professionals, including Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz, Education Minister Yifat Shasha-Biton, Welfare and Social Services Minister Meir Cohen, and others.
