The Maccabiah's main goal is to bring together young Jewish athletes from all over the globe in Israel and to deepen the young participants' ties to the State of Israel and the Jewish people.
There are four different competitions within the Maccabiah; Open, Junior, Masters, and Paralympics. Any athlete between the ages of 15 and 18 who qualifies can compete in the Junior games. The Masters division is separated into a variety of age divisions to accommodate older participants, while the Open category is open to all ages, in accordance with the governing international regulations in each sport and reserved exclusively for each delegation's finest athletes.
The Maccabiah program provides participants with the chance to travel throughout Israel and engage within Israeli society, inaugurating and constructing an amazing experience that includes competitive sports, cultural activities, and life-long memories.
