A human skull was discovered on Tuesday in an open area outside what used to be the Beersheba municipal shooting range.

After police received the initial report that a skull had been found, crime scene personnel collected the findings and Beersheba police brought in a cadaver dog, Lula, to help canvass the area.
The skull was transferred to the National Center of Forensic Mediciine at Abu Kabir, and police have launched an investigation.
