Firefighters rescued five people from a fire in a Haifa apartment building that broke out overnight between Thursday and Friday.

Five teams of firefighters were called to battle the fire at a residential building on Dolchin St.
Reports of the fire came in early Friday morning. A number of residents were reportedly trapped by the smoke, and were having difficulty breathing.
Firefighters helped some residents out of the building via the stairwell, and rescued others from balconies.
