This will be the first visit by a Swedish FM to Jerusalem since Stockholm recognized a Palestinian state in 2014, a move the rattled the ties between the two states.
"Foreign Minister Ann Linde will visit Israel and Palestine on Oct. 18 and 19," the government said on Sunday.
Linde will meet with Foreign Minister Yair Lapid on Monday, as well as with President Israel Isaac Hertzog.
She also plans to visit the Yad Vashem World Holocaust Remembrance Center and participate in an exhibition hosted by the Swedish Embassy in Israel marking 70 years of diplomatic relations.
"Having a normal relationship at the level of the foreign minister itself is a new chapter in our foreign policy dialogue," local media cited her as saying.
On the second day of her visit, Linde is scheduled to visit Ramallah. The Swedish government has yet to release details on her planned visit to the Palestinian Auhtority.
This revival of diplomatic ties comes after years of a fragile relationship, which was sparked following then-Swedish FM Margot Wallstrom accusing Israel of "extrajudicial killings" of Palestinians.

Israel responded by recalling its ambassador from Stockholm and cutting communications between the countries on the ministerial level, reviving them only earlier this year.
But overtures are apparent between the states, as Sweden in recent years has spoken in favor of convening the EU-Israel Association Council and supporting Israeli candidacy to UN bodies.
Renewed ties between Sweden and Israel fit Lapid's goal of strengthening Israel's ties to liberal, democratic countries, sources in Jerusalem said.
