On Thursday, the well-known singer posted three photographs on her Instagram page in which she wore a high-waisted green skirt with a slit – designed by French designer Alexandre Vauthier for a 2020 Fall collection – that was paired with a black plunge top.

While fans praised the outfit, Asia was much less thrilled. She said she had previously presented a skirt identical to the one worn by Beyoncé at the 2020 Tel Aviv Fashion Week.
"The moment I saw it, I knew it was a ripoff because it is the same color and the same cut with pockets," Asia asserted, but did not rule out that it could have been a coincidence.
She further stressed that while the skirt was only presented to the general public in 2020, she had designed it in 2019.
"The skirt in question was presented to senior figures in Israel and the international fashion industry long before. It is one of my brand's first designs, and the brand launched in 2019."

Asia also explained that the inspiration for the skirt design came from her sister, who is ultra-Orthodox.
"She wears puffy high-waisted skirts, like a barbie, and the slit is a bold interpretation of her personality," she said.
