The cause of the recent Facebook crash wasn't due to a technical malfunction, human error, or malicious hacking, rather something from out of this world: aliens.

At least that's what Israeli-British illusionist, magician, television personality, and self-proclaimed psychic Uri Geller had to say about the incident.
As a reminder, Facebook and its Instagram and WhatsApp platforms suffered a worldwide outage on Monday that lasted for seven hours and led millions of people to flock to other social media platforms, such as Twitter, TikTok and Telegram.
While Facebook's official explanation for the worst failure in the company's history was a technical one, Geller insisted in a Twitter post earlier this week that the crash was instead the work of "alien extraterrestrial technology."
In a series of tweets, Geller also shared a video from CNN purporting to show a UFO, next to which he wrote: "What's the big deal for them to paralyze the S [social media] networks."

When asked in response to his tweets whether he actually believes that aliens were involved in the Facebook crash, he replied: "That's my sense, yes. What's the big deal for them. Google the recent alien videos the Pentagon published."
