Gantz also detailed that the two spoke about the legislator's role in US-Israel relations, and he expressed gratitude for her past support of Israel's security initiatives.
The announcement is one of several acknowledgments of appreciation Gantz has made on social media regarding the Iron Dome initiative.
The defense minister also thanked AIPAC leaders for their efforts in supporting the bill.
I also thanked Speaker Pelosi for her ongoing commitment to Israel's security over the years. I stressed that bipartisan support, particularly for our air defense mechanisms, is vital. These systems enable us to defend our citizens while never ceasing the pursuit for peace.

Historically, proposals to fund the Iron Dome have enjoyed broad bipartisan support in Congress, with backing from both Republicans and Democrats.
Last week, the US Congress voted for key funding that would replenish Israel's Iron Dome interceptor missiles, with a large majority in favor of the measure.
The bill was approved with 420 votes for the initiative and nine against (eight Democrats and one Republican).
Two lawmakers, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, abstained with a "present" vote.
Now that the measure has passed the House of Representatives, it must now proceed to the Senate, where it will be voted on for final Congressional approval.
The date for this vote has not yet been declared.
