A combined operation by IDF, Shin Bet security agency, and Border Police forces overnight near Ramallah resulted in the arrested of dozens of operatives from Hamas' student cell at Bir Zeit University.

The operation was made possible due to intelligence sharing by the various branches of Israel's security forces active in the region
Some of the detainees are suspected of direct involvement in terrorist activity, including transferring money, incitement to terrorism, and organizing Hamas activity in Judea and Samaria. The suspects have been handed over to security forces for questioning.
