A source privy to the allegations told Channel 12 News that while at this point the Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, were not suspected of any wrongdoing, initial findings point to a pattern of the family's past alleged misuse of public funds.
In response, Netanyahu threatened to sue the news outlet for defamation and claimed the allegations were "a complete lie." He said no state funds were invested in the residence since the family purchased the home more than 20 years ago.
