The Knesset Legal Department requested the plenum look into the matter, and Kara was summoned by Knesset Speaker Mickey Levy to clarify the incident.
In a statement published after the meeting, the plenum said Kara claimed he voted twice "by mistake." Nevertheless, several lawmakers accused him of having done so intentionally.
