The outgoing chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) said Monday that the investigation into last month's 11-day conflict between Israel and Hamas is "not ignoring anything."

Fatou Bensouda, in an interview at the court's headquarters in The Hague with the Associated Press (AP) days before her departure, said that her office is also looking at Israel's bombing of a media tower in Gaza City that housed the local offices of news organizations including the AP.
Asked whether Israel had provided any evidence to the court about the incident, she said: "Definitely we have not had anything come from Israel about this."
Israel recently issued a statement detailing Hamas terrorist activities at the building.
Bensouda has a contentious relationship with the Jewish state.
The Trump administration last year sanctioned her for launching an investigation into alleged war crimes by the US and its allies, notably Israel. The Biden administration in April lifted the sanctions.
On March 3, Bensouda announced that the ICC was opening an investigation into actions by Israel and the Palestinians since mid-2014. The move was denounced by Israel, accusing the ICC of bias.
Bensouda's nine-year term ends on Wednesday. She will be replaced by British barrister Karim Khan.
