A 4.1 magnitude earthquake was felt in southern Israel on Wednesday night. No injuries or damage were reported.

The Geological Survey of Israel said the epicenter was 68 kilometers (42 miles) northeast of the southern resort city of Eilat.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre pegged the rattle at 2:08 a.m., saying that the epicenter was 10 kilometers deep.

An earthquake was also felt in Jordan around the same time, it said.
