Earlier on Sunday, security was increase around Yamina chief Naftali Bennett, as well, after a spike in the online incitement against him over what hardline rightists and Likud supporters have labeled his "betrayal."
According to Channel 12 News, threats were also made against Bennett and Shaked's families.
Hundreds of right-wingers have been protesting outside Bennett and Shaked's homes for several days, decrying Yamina's intent to join a Center-Left government.
Bennett announced on Sunday that he would work with Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid to form a government that would prevent Israel from plunging into a fifth election campaign in two years.
"The fact is that Netanyahu has no government [to swear in]," Bennett said in a televised address, adding that he would try to spare the nation from another election even if that means partnering with the Left.
Netanyahu excoriated Bennett over the move, saying it could "spell disaster" for Israel and was a betrayal of the Right that would "embolden Israel's adversaries."
