Israeli security forces have begun allowing a limited number of Gaza fishing boats to set out to sea as Egyptian mediators continued working to firm up a ceasefire that took effect Friday.
The return of fishing buoyed hopes that the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas will hold.

Meanwhile Sunday, hundreds of municipal workers and volunteers began clearing rubble from Gaza's streets.
The recent war saw Israel unleash hundreds of airstrikes across Gaza at Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist targets. Hamas and other armed groups fired some 4,500 rockets and missiles at Israel.
