On Sunday morning, mountain climber Danielle Wolfson became the first Israeli woman to reach the summit of Mount Everest.

"I'm at the peak! I'm on top of the world! Now I just have to get down," Wolfson wrote on Facebook, promising additional updates.
Approximately 10 years ago, Wolfson sustained injuries so severe while skiing that doctors found it difficult to believe she would ever walk again. In recent years she has scaled four volcanoes in South American as well as Mount Ararat, on the border between Iran and Armenia.
