The center features dozens of display rooms and concept stores for planning, design, furniture, accessories, and household textiles by leading Israeli and international brands, offering innovative design ideas under the slogan "Design Changes the World."
This will be the first design center in Israel to include customized workspaces for designers and architects. The center will also house a branch of the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, offering academic courses in all design fields.
The new center spans about 38,000 square meters. Among the project's developers and owners are Amir Biram, managing partner at JTLV; Shuki Schwartz, owner and CEO of Tollman's; Uri Kramer, part-owner of Topolski Rezef; and the Blizblau family, owners of A. Blizblau.
The center will provide home design solutions, from the construction (or renovation) stage to the last stages of home styling. It features about 40 display rooms and popular brand stores ranging in size between 100 sq.m. and 2,400 sq.m.
The brands include: Topolski Rezef (TR); Tollman's Dot; Aminach; Floralis; Natuzzi; Urban; Easydoor Closets; Newpan Shop; Beit HaTapet Wallpapers; M&L Stone; Ideal; Ya'ad; Sinai Brothers; ZAGA; Tavor Doors; Hollandia; Sealy; Kloss; drom; Dr. Gav; Dror Doors / Redwood; SIMPLY WOOD; Klil; Designers' House; Hamadia Doors; HaUmanim; Flash; Hardoor; Nicoletti; Avivi Kitchens; Shviro; Rossetto; Etzmaleh; and Swingfans.
The center – the first of its kind in Israel – was designed by Architect Avner Yashar, who took inspiration from early 20th-century modernist architecture. The building is itself an exceptional architectural work, covered in red glass tiles that are lit up at night.
