Three rockets were launched from Lebanon toward northern Israel on Thursday but landed in the Mediterranean sea, causing no damage or casualties, the Israel Defense Forces said.

Residents near the northern border said they heard blasts, and according to some of them the rockets may have landed at sea.
Hezbollah, the Iranian-Shiite terrorist group that controls southern Lebanon, has not claimed responsibility.
But local reports suggest it had tacitly given a green light for Palestinian groups to engage in rocket fire, perhaps in order to show solidarity with Gazans.
Israel and Hamas have been engaged in intense fighting in recent days, with Palestinians firing rockets on main population centers and Israel hitting back at the Hamas terrorist group's installations.
