The Wizards rookie managed to score 6 points before landing on his ankle after missing a layup in the second quarter of the game. Fellow teammate Jordan Bell covered up Avdija's leg with a jersey. The injured player was taken off the court in a wheelchair.
According to the report, Avdija will most likely not need surgery. He is scheduled for an MRI on Thursday.
