The Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem on Thursday reported an improvement in the condition of world-renowned Israeli chef Shalom Kadosh, who was in critical condition after being assaulted last month during an attempted robbery in the capital.

Kadosh, who suffered a head injury, was in a medically induced coma since being admitted into the neurosurgical intensive care unit at Hadassah Ein Kerem three weeks ago.
The hospital said Kadosh was a stable but serious condition and "has a long way ahead of him" for a full recovery.
