Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Yamina leader Naftali Bennett met Tuesday for the fourth time since the March 23 election and the third time since President Reuven Rivlin tasked Netanyahu to form a government.

During the meeting, which lasted three hours, the two agreed to meet again shortly.
On Monday, Bennett said during Yamina's weekly faction meeting at the Knesset that his party supports forming a right-wing government with Netanyahu but stressed that preventing a fifth round of elections was his ultimate goal.
Sources familiar with the matter told Israel Hayom that during Tuesday's meeting, Netanyahu asked Bennett to show the public his complete willingness to form a right-wing government, that he is not considering any other option, which will, in turn, make efforts to form a coalition easier. Both Likud and Yamina denied the statement.
