The Kfar Saba Municipality, assisted by the Israel Economic Development Corporation, is collaborating with the Qasem Economic Corporation to promote rooftop farming. The initiative is part of the "Under the Same Green Roof" project led by the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation and supported by USAID..
The idea is to grow agricultural produce on urban rooftops, with the involvement of local businesses. So far, green roofs have been installed in Kfar Saba above the Center for Art and Sustainability and above the Sirkin Retirement Club.
