Providing hard-to-reach rural communities with a connection to the digital world is the aim of Radwin, an Israeli tech company that provides global wireless solutions. On Tuesday, Radwin announced the commercial launch of its advanced TV White Space wireless connection device.

Radwin Outland uses reliable broadband wireless connectivity that overcomes terrain and foliage obstructions, leveraing the company's technology and over 20 years of experience.

Outland bridges service providers and unserved rural customers, providing them with value-added broadband services that can link them to online healthcare, education, work from home, and commercial and entertainment services.

Radwin's quest to address the connectivity gap is joined by Microsoft's Airband Initiative, which aims to make high-speed internet more available and affordable by leveraging various connectivity solutions.

"TV White Space solutions are a powerful means of expanding broadband access, particularly for those living in rural, hard-to-reach areas," Airband Initiative General Manager Vickie Robinson said.

"Even now, entire populations across the globe are still living in remote areas with no internet connection," Vice President of Global Business Development at Radwin Adi Nativ explained.

"Radwin's objective is to make broadband accessible to anyone, anywhere in the world, by prevailing upon all connectivity barriers," he said.
