The poor economic management of the coronavirus crisis has cost us tens of billions of shekels – billions that were thrown around with no orderly plan or budget that we now have to pay back. But by then we would already be without health insurance, without state grants, and without jobs.
Most Israelis understand this and are very anxious about their economic future. over 30% of Israelis want to see me as the next finance minister. On the other hand, huge forces, including senior journalists, capitalists, and party leaders, are doing everything they can to keep me out of the Finance Ministry.
People who do not agree on anything, agree on one thing: keeping me out of the Finance Ministry.
They know why: They know I'm the only one who can put an end to the nepotism and their profligate spending. They know I'm the only one who can cut them off from state resources.
That is the real fight in these elections: the middle class versus a sickening caste of smug, power-drunk politicians. This is a fight between small businesses and huge conglomerates. I have picked a side – your side. Now it's up to you.
