Syrian air defenses engaged an Israeli missile attack on suburbs of Damascus late on Tuesday night, the country's state television reported. The Israeli military did not comment on the report.

State TV said Syrian air defense shot down some of the Israeli missiles before they hit their targets. It gave no further details or say which suburbs came under attack.
