The Hebrew-language online event is slated to take place on Thursday. Titled "Jewish Riots in the Territories," it will focus on alleged acts of violence perpetrated by Jews against Palestinians in Judea and Samaria.
Im Tirtzu said that one of the four featured speakers, Nejmeh Hijazi, a field researcher with Yesh Din: Volunteers for Human Rights has uploaded dozens of anti-Israel posts to her Facebook page over the years, including a number of posts allegedly praising terrorists.
Im Tirtzu said that in 2015, Hijazi uploaded a photo of Hamas founder Ahmed Yassin on the date he was assassinated by the IDF and wrote: "There is no sun this morning because on this day 11 years ago our hope was lost, Salam Alaikum Sidi [peace be upon you, my master]."
A year prior, Hijazi uploaded another photo of Yassin and wrote: "Your smile proves to me that we are winning every day."
In the same year, she uploaded a photo of then-Hamas leader Khaled Mashal and former Balas MK Azmi Bishara, who was charged with spying on Israel for Hezbollah, with two heart emojis accompanied by the words "love and love."
In March and May 2018, Hijazi uploaded posts praising the terrorist Raed Salah, who heads the Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement in Israel.
Last week, Hijazi uploaded a post in support of Yasmin Jaber, the east Jerusalem resident who was charged with spying for Hezbollah.
The US-based New Israel Fund is one of the largest financers of Israel's left-wing civil society. It sponsors various groups, including several controversial NGOs, such ad Breaking the Silence, B'Tselem, and Adalah.
Im Tirtzu said that given the NIF's track record, "It is not surprising that the New Israel Fund is holding a webinar featuring a radical anti-Israel propagandist who praises terrorists. This is further proof of the true nature of this anti-Israel organization."
