Israel's Hayom's exclusive interview with the exiled Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi caused an uproar on social media and drew a great deal of interest in Iran, Turkey, the UK, and even the US. Persian-language media outlets outside of Iran including Kayhan London, Iran International, and Deutsche Welle's Media Center in Persian, also addressed Reza Pahlavi's remarks.

"The Islamic Republic constitutes a threat to the State of Israel," DW's Persian-language site noted. "The former crown prince sees the regime's hatred of Israel as a policy that maintains the stability and security of the Islamic Republic," it said.
In its report, Iran International, a UK-based outlet, focused on the exiled crown prince's desire for peace with Israel.
"He expressed his support for the Abraham Accords. He thinks they opened many doors for the youths in those countries unlike the 'axis of resistance [comprising Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria],' where he sees darkness."
In a debate in the outlet's studio, a heated argument ensued in which one of the participants asserted, "His goal is for the lobby in Israel to offer him positions there. People who think he deserves a job just because he is the Shah's son are wrong."
Kayhan London noted Pahlavi's determination that the end of the ayatollah regime was near and that "the Western powers will not get what they need – peace and stability – from the nuclear deal. He said the deal is good for the Islamic Republic, but it is terrible for the Western powers and the Middle Eastern states. He also said the Iranian people are interested in peace with Israel."
The Farashgard (Iran Revival) organization, which advocates for a secular and democratic Iran, quoted heavily from the interview and noted, "Pahlavi said a majority of Iranians think the Islamic Republic has failed."
In the US, Israeli American philanthropist Adam Milstein tweeted that the exiled crown prince "warned that the Biden administration's intent to rejoin the JCPOA nuclear deal with Iran is a mistake and that the deal was based on the misconception that the current regime would change its ways."
Carl Valencia, a political commentator from Turkey's T24 news site and the Shalom newspaper, related to Pahlavi's desire for a secular and democratic Iran, saying, "He determines Biden's Iran policy is wrong, the regime's days are numbered, and that he supports the Abraham Accords."
