Two women are hospitalized in serious condition in Hillel Yaffe Medical Center after having contracted the coronavirus.

One of the women, in her twenties, arrived at the hospital in serious condition in the 34th week of her pregnancy. Due to the deterioration in her condition and risk to the fetus, the doctors decided to perform an emergency C-section.
The other pregnant woman, also in her twenties, was admitted to the emergency room in the 37th week of her pregnancy, suffering from breathing difficulties. She was diagnosed with COVID-19, and the doctors decided to perform a C-section.
Both operations went well. The newborns are hospitalized in Hillel Yaffe Medical Center due to being born prematurely but are in good condition.
