British clothing retailer will be closing its stores in Israel at the request of Asos, which has acquired the British brand from the Golf Group, which franchised the stores in Israel.

Reports earlier this week put the sum of the acquisition at £265 million.
The purchase deal does not include the physical premises of the Topshop stores. Some 300 employees will be taken on by Asos and an estimated 2,500 will be let go.
